Mr Saud Hamza

Biography

Mr Saud Hamza is an Oncoplastic breast and thyroid surgeon consulting at Icon Cancer Centre Rockingham. He is committed to evidence-based, multidisciplinary care, with a focus on achieving the best possible oncological and aesthetic outcomes for patients.

Mr Hamza completed his medical degree in 1992. Following specialist training, he was awarded membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (MRCSI) in 2002 and fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2010.

In 2005, Mr Hamza received an American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) grant to undertake advanced training in breast surgical oncology at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, Italy. He has further developed expertise in oncoplastic breast surgery through advanced clinical attachment and workshops in Australia and Europe.

Mr Hamza is a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at Fiona Stanley Hospital, St John of God Murdoch Hospital, The Mount Hospital, Hollywood Private Hospital and Peel Health Campus. He is also an adjunct clinical associate professor at Curtin Medical School and a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Western Australia.

He is a founding member of Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand (BreastSurgANZ) and a member of the Australian Society of Breast Diseases (ASBD), Australian & New Zealand Endocrine Surgeons (ANZES), International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES), and General Surgeons Australia (GSA).

Mr Hamza subspecialises in breast surgery (cancer and non-cancer surgery), oncoplastic breast surgery, breast implant surgery (removal and replacement or removal and nipple lifting procedures), breast reduction and nipple lifting, and benign thyroid conditions.
