Biography

Dr Vincent Pow is an experienced radiation oncologist who consults at multiple Icon Cancer Centre locations across South Australia including Windsor Gardens, Adelaide (Kurralta Park) and Noarlunga. He provides treatment services at Windsor Gardens and Noarlunga. In 2012, Dr Pow completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Adelaide, South Australia. He then completed five years of specialist radiation oncology training within the SA/NT Network.

In 2021, Dr Pow became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR). Alongside his practice at Icon, he is the Head of the Radiation Oncology Unit at the Lyell McEwin Hospital. He is also a permanent staff specialist, Chair of the Radiation Oncology Quality & Safety Committee and Acting Deputy Director for Radiation Oncology at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, and works as a locum consultant radiation oncologist at the Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre in Darwin. Dr Pow maintains a strong interest in advanced radiation techniques and clinical research and is eager to continue to take on new challenges.

Over the years Dr Pow has published and presented many different topics with a recent focus on Telemedicine and its usage in helping rural and remote patients. His clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies with a special interest in genitourinary cancer, gynaecological cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, skin cancer, prostate cancer and stereotactic radiation therapy.
