Leah Schukow

Biography

Leah is a dedicated nurse with over 15 years of clinical experience and extensive expertise in oncology and haematology. She is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

She completed a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2009, followed by a Postgraduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing at the Australasian Academy of Cosmetic Dermal Science Sydney Training Clinic (AACDS) in 2014.

Leah has worked across several Queensland hospitals, including the Queensland Children’s Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she practised as a registered nurse from 2012 to 2022. From 2015 and 2016, she held a clinical nurse position in the clinical trials unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital, strengthening her experience in research and evidence-based care.

Leah has also worked across Icon North Lakes and Icon Chermside in both registered and clinical nurse roles. She currently specialises in providing comprehensive and confidential supportive care to people diagnosed with colorectal cancer across the Moreton Bay region.
