Biography
Ann is a registered nurse with extensive experience in cancer care since 2008, having worked across both regional and metropolitan Western Australia. Her background includes medical oncology and inpatient palliative care, with a dedicated focus on breast cancer nursing since 2014.
Ann completed her Bachelor of Science (Nursing) and Postgraduate Diploma in Midwifery at Curtin University and holds a Graduate Certificate in Cancer Nursing from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
She is passionate about supporting patients through what can be an overwhelming and emotional journey, helping them navigate diagnosis and treatment with compassion, clarity and expert care.
Ann’s role includes:
Providing reliable education about breast cancer, treatment options, and potential side effects
Offering psychosocial and emotional support to patients and their families
Assisting patients in accessing hospital and community services
Coordinating ongoing care and acting as a consistent point of contact throughout treatment
