Our dedicated melanoma nurse provides confidential, supportive care for Icon patients who have been diagnosed with melanoma.

Providing an ongoing point of contact and support
Coordinating care throughout their cancer journey
Assisting with access to services both in the hospital and community
Providing reliable information regarding diagnosis and treatment planning
Helping to manage treatment related side effects
Assisting access to support groups and/or supportive resources
This is a free service for Icon patients diagnosed with melanoma.
If you are receiving treatment at Icon Cancer Centre Townsville, you can ask your care team to connect you with the melanoma nurse for additional support.
