Biography
Dr Sarah Khan is a compassionate, detail-oriented medical oncologist who brings a supportive and calm approach to her practice. She is experienced and confident, and is committed to nurturing and communicating with patients to keep them well-informed throughout all stages of their journey. Her strong work commitment and exceptional care reassures patients they are receiving the highest level of care.
Dr Sarah Khan is an experienced medical oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Revesby. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Pakistan and spent early years of medical training in Westmead and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, NSW.
Dr Khan gained extensive medical oncology experience at NSW’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospital prior to commencing private practice at Icon Revesby. She is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) and a member of several leading Australian and New Zealand cancer trial groups.
Dr Sarah Khan maintains a broad scope of clinical practice. She has extensive experience and clinical interests in treatment of malignancies including lung cancer, breast cancer, gynaecological cancer, genitourinary cancer and gastrointestinal cancer. Dr Khan has undertaken research in advanced breast cancer and has presented her work on fertility outcomes of patients treated with chemotherapy at national and international conferences. She also has a conjoint associate lecturer appointment with Western Sydney University.
