Biography
Dr Gaurav Ghosh is a dual-trained Nuclear Medicine Physician and Endocrinologist with expertise in theranostics, molecular imaging and the management of neuroendocrine tumours and prostate cancer. He is committed to patient-centred, multidisciplinary care and values clear communication to help patients and referrers feel informed and supported throughout treatment.
Dr Gaurav Ghosh is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, with specialist training in Endocrinology and Nuclear Medicine. He also holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Western Australia and completed his medical degree at the same institution.
He has developed experience across nuclear medicine, endocrinology and general medicine through roles at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, Fiona Stanley Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and the Kimberley Regional Physician Service. He undertook a fellowship in radionuclide therapy and molecular imaging at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where he was involved in patient assessment, delivery of radionuclide therapies and reporting of PET and nuclear medicine imaging within a tertiary service.
Dr Gaurav Ghosh has particular clinical and research interest in emerging diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclides. His experience includes care for patients undergoing Lutetium PSMA therapy, Lutetium Octreotate therapy and thyroid cancer management, including I-131 therapy and follow-up. He has also contributed to clinical trials, conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications, with research interests in quantitative SPECT and PET imaging in theranostics. He is passionate about multidisciplinary collaboration and delivering the best possible outcomes for patients through thoughtful, personalised care.
