Biography
Dr Simone Reeves is committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based cancer care using modern radiotherapy techniques. She is known for her clear communication and patient-centred approach, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated, individualised care.
Dr Simone Reeves is a highly experienced Radiation Oncologist who treats a broad range of cancers, including breast, genitourinary, gastrointestinal and brain tumours. She also has a wealth of experience with the use of stereotactic radiotherapy for a wide range of cancers.
Dr Reeves completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne and undertook specialist training in Radiation Oncology at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2012 and completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre. She also holds a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona and a Specialist Certificate in Clinical Leadership from the University of Melbourne.
Dr Reeves has held clinical roles across leading health services, including Austin Health and Alfred Health and has spent the past decade as a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist and Campus Director at the Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre, supporting access to high-quality care for regional patients.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Reeves is actively involved in research and clinical trials, including as a Principal Investigator on national registry studies and trials focused on improving patient outcomes and quality of life. She contributes to the development of clinical protocols and has published in peer-reviewed journals.
