Biography
Dr Stanley Cheung is a clinical haematologist at Icon Cancer Centre Adelaide and Icon Cancer Centre Windsor Gardens. He is a medical graduate from the University of Hong Kong and in 2005 obtained his FHKCP in Haematology following post-graduate training in Hong Kong and Adelaide.
He moved to Adelaide in 2008 and studied his PhD with the international expert in chronic myeloid leukemia (Professor Junia V Melo) and subsequently worked as a full time research fellow/postdoc fellow in Royal Adelaide Hospital and SAHMRI (South Australia Health and Medical Research Institute) from 2013. Dr Cheung is experienced in caring for a wide range of malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions, with particular interest in leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, thrombosis and haemostasis.
He speaks fluent Cantonese and limited Mandarin, and looks forward to caring for patients in a language they are familiar with.
