Biography
Dr Sarwan Bishnoi underwent specialist training in adult and paediatric medical oncology and malignant haematology at KIMIO, Bangalore and CMC Vellore, after completing his post graduate degree in internal medicine from University of Rajasthan. His special interests include colorectal, lung, breast, and head and neck cancers.
He was inducted to The Royal Australian College of Physicians as fellow in 2011 after advance oncology training at Flinders Medical Centre and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Dr Bishnoi has worked as a medical oncologist at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Lyell McEwin Hospital. Beside vast experience in managing a wide variety of solid tumours in various clinical settings, Dr Bishnoi has a keen interest in clinical research and research ethics. He has over 30 publications to his credit published in various peer reviewed journals including Journal of Clinical Oncology, Annals of Oncology, Journal of Geriatric Oncology, Oral Oncology and Asia-Pacific Journal of Clinical Oncology.
He is an active member of ethics committee and regularly reviews research protocols from international co-operative research groups as an expert for scientific validity, merit, integrity and ethical conduct. He is an active member of a number of professional bodies and societies
