Biography
Dr Nimit Singhal completed his oncology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) in 2006 and is currently employed as consultant oncologist at RAH and Lyell McEwin Hospital. Dr Singhal joined the Adelaide Cancer Centre in August 2007 and today consults at Kurralta Park and St Andrew’s hospital. He is also a visiting medical officer at Icon Cancer Centre Adelaide.
He is principal investigator in many clinical trials, including several investigator initiated studies, and is actively involved in teaching and supervising both undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University of Adelaide.
Dr Singhal’s clinical interests are in treating solid tumours, in particular lung, gastrointestinal, brain and sarcomas. He is a member of Human Research Ethics committee. He is also an active AMA member and physician representative.
