Biography
Dr Edward Sia believes in a compassionate and patient-centred approach to care. His warm and approachable manner enables him to build meaningful relationships with his patients and their loved ones.
Dr Edward Sia is a radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Toowoomba, Icon Cancer Centre Springfield and Icon Cancer Centre Ipswich. In 2005, Dr Sia obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, United Kingdom and undertook specialist radiation oncology training in regional New South Wales and New Zealand. Dr Sia completed his radiation oncology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2018.
His clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies, with a special interest in lung cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, skin cancer and head and neck cancer.
