Dr Anupam Chaudhuri is a compassionate, detail-oriented radiation oncologist who is committed to delivering prompt, patient-focused care. He combines a positive and calm approach with an active interest in clinical research to care for the physical and emotional needs of his patients throughout treatment and beyond.

Biography

Dr Anupam Chaudhuri is an experienced radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Revesby, Icon Cancer Centre Wahroonga and Icon Cancer Centre Concord. In 1996 he completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at India’s University of Calcutta and commenced specialist oncology training at Nottingham University Hospital and Cardiff’s Velindre Cancer Centre. Dr Chaudhuri is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP).

He gained extensive radiation oncology experience in the United Kingdom, United States of America and New Zealand prior to commencing practice at St Vincent’s Hospital and Northern Beaches Cancer Care in New South Wales. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) and a member of several leading Australian and New Zealand cancer trial groups.

Dr Chaudhuri is a leading radiation oncologist utilising stereotactic ablative body radiation therapy (SABR) and stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) techniques. His clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies ,with a special interest in prostate cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer and skin cancers.
