Biography
Dr Angela Allen is an experienced Radiation Oncologist who provides compassionate, personalised cancer care. She has a special interest in the treatment of breast, urological, and skin cancers, and works closely with patients and their families to support them throughout their treatment.
Dr Angela Allen is a consultant radiation oncologist at Icon Cancer Centre Springfield and Icon Cancer Centre Ipswich.
Dr Allen completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before earning her medical degree from The University of Queensland. She undertook her specialist Radiation Oncology training at The Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne and has been caring for patients at Icon Cancer Centre for more than 10 years.
Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Allen is passionate about improving cancer care through education and leadership. She is a Director of Radiation Oncology Training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. She also serves on the Board of the Australasian Society for Breast Disease and has held a number of leadership and educational roles within the Faculty of Radiation Oncology (RANZCR).
