Icon is delighted to announce it will build a new, state-of-the-art radiation oncology service in Noosa, Queensland at Stockwell’s Noosa Civic Medihub.

Icon Cancer Centre Noosa will provide cutting-edge radiation therapy technology, including an advanced Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, close to home for the residents in the greater Noosa area.

The service will treat all tumour streams and provide over 900 new courses of radiation therapy each year. Our patients are seen by one doctor for the duration of their treatment.

Latest technology and treatment

We offer state-of-the-art technology and techniques for all cancer types, including HyperArc for brain cancer, stereotactic radiation therapy for precision treatment of small tumours, and tattoo-less radiation therapy, using an advanced Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator.

Direct Link with the Gympie region

A private bus with an experienced driver can conveniently transport Gympie patients from their home to treatment at the centre, and return.

Exceptional, holistic patient care

Our highly experienced Radiation Oncologists based locally on the Sunshine Coast will see patients across the region for the duration of their treatment. A dedicated Cancer Care Coordinator is offered onsite.
