About Icon Cancer Centre Noosa
Icon’s radiation oncology service in Noosa, located at Stockwell’s Noosa Civic Medihub, provides cutting-edge radiation therapy technology close to home for the residents across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie surrounding regions.
Icon Cancer Centre Noosa offers state‑of‑the‑art technology and techniques for all cancer types, including HyperArc for brain cancer, stereotactic radiotherapy for precision treatment of small tumours, and tattoo‑less radiotherapy using an advanced Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator. We treat all tumour streams, providing over 900 new courses of radiotherapy each year, and our patients are seen by the same specialist doctor for the duration of their treatment.
No private health insurance is required for radiotherapy at Icon Noosa, with the majority of fees covered for Medicare card holders. Allied health support services are included, and travel assistance is available for eligible patients.
