As per South Australia Health’s alert a number of South Australians have tested positive to COVID-19 and the state will go into lockdown at 12 midnight on 18 November.
Icon Cancer Centre Tennyson and Windsor Gardens remain open for all patient treatment during the South Australian lockdown period. Our team are providing essential patient care and it is important that patients continue with their scheduled visits.
Please be reassured our patient’s health and safety is our top priority. We are undertaking the most stringent hygiene practices and screening measures to ensure patient safety, including providing patients a mask upon arrival to the centre.
We urge patients not to attend the centre and get tested if they, or anyone they live with, develop any COVID-19 symptoms, even if they are mild. Anyone being tested must isolate until the test results are received.

- Shortness of breath
- Runny nose
- Loss of smell and/or taste
Other symptoms people may experience include muscle or joint pain, diarrhoea, nausea and/or vomiting and loss of appetite.

If patients have been in close contact with an infected person or a person who has been identified as a close contact of a case, please contact us; do not visit the centre.
If patients have visited any of the identified hotspot locations during the listed time please contact the centre.
