Biography
Dr Momin Sid is dedicated to providing person-centred, evidence-based care that addresses the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of patients and their families.
Dr Sid is a palliative care physician at Icon Cancer Centre Southport, with more than 10 years of experience in palliative care medicine. He graduated with a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree at the University of San Augustin, Philippines in 2002 and a Doctor of Medicine Degree at Xavier University, Philippines in 2006. He completed his specialist training at Gold Coast Hospital, Redcliffe Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital.
Dr Sid is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Australasian Chapter of Palliative Medicine and is also an Associate Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management. He has a Master of Health Management at the University of New England, NSW.
He has extensive experience in the management of complex symptoms, advance care planning, psychosocial support, care coordination and interdisciplinary team leadership.
