Dr Eve Tiong believes in going above and beyond for her patients. Through her own personal experience and her work in oncology, Dr Tiong is passionate about delivering exceptional holistic care to patients throughout treatment and beyond.

Biography

Dr Tiong is a highly experienced radiation oncologist based at Icon Midland and Icon Rockingham. After completing her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales, Dr Tiong established her oncology career at Singapore’s National Cancer Centre and National University Hospital in 2009.  She returned to NSW to continue specialist training in radiation oncology at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney and The Canberra Hospital and was awarded fellowship to the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) in 2015.  She then undertook a specialist fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, Canada, where she further perfected her skills.

Dr Tiong is experienced in delivering best practice care using advanced techniques such as stereotactic radiation therapy, MRI simulation, image guided radiation therapy, brachytherapy and CyberKnife®.

Dr Tiong is proficient in English and can converse in Mandarin and Malay. She looks forward to working with patients in their language. Her clinical experience covers a broad range of solid tumour malignancies, with special clinical interest in prostate cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, gastrointestinal cancer and lymphoma.
