Dr James Gray is a consultant Haematologist with a public and private practice in Southern New South Wales and the Canberra region. Until recently, Dr Gray was a staff specialist at The Royal Adelaide and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals, Adelaide. Dr Gray has trained at the Alfred Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Canberra Hospital.
Dr Gray has a PhD (1991) in the field of molecular biology from the Research School of Biology at Australian National University. He attended medical school at Queen’s University (1999), Kingston, Ontario, Canada and undertook post-doctoral research at the National Cancer Institute, National Institutes of Health, United States of America. Dr Gray has research interests in Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.
Dr Gray treats and manages all conditions in haematology, with a particular focus on malignant disease.
